E Badminton athletes concluded their 2017 Summer Universaide Championship competition yesterday, August 28, 2017. Although they were not successful in earning medals, we are proud of the results they achieved against some of the top players in the world.
Michelle Tong fought to the round of 32 in WD, eventually losing against Thailand 1-2. Jason Ho-Shue reached the round of 16 in MS, losing to Malaysia. Jon Lai and Jason impressively made it to the QUARTER FINALS in MD before being defeated by Taipei. EBC athletes definitely displayed the fierceness of ️Canadian badminton during their participation at the World University Championships. Great job!
