What is the coach to student ratio?
Approximately 1 coach to 8-10 athletes.
What does a typical day look like?
8:50AM-9AM: drop off. 9AM-12pm: badminton lessons. 12PM-1PM: lunch. 1PM-3PM: badminton lessons and games. Badminton lessons consists of technique training, footwork, and multi-shuttle drills. Games include badminton and non-badminton games for fun and teambuilding.

Lunch?
Lunch is available for purchase for $50 per week and is served from 12-1PM daily. Must purchase for the whole week. Approximately 3 meals per week will be provided by local Chinese restaurant, Dragon Legend. Approximately 2 meals per week will be provided by a local pizza place. Meals may change without notice and no exchanges/refunds are available. Athletes are all served the same meals and cannot choose. There are no accommodations, exchanges or refunds for dietary restrictions. Please do not register for lunch if you have a dietary restriction.
What equipment do I need?
Athletes must bring their own badminton racket and clean, non-marking, indoor, certified badminton (gum bottom) shoes. Shoes with any dark spots on the bottom, regardless of size, will not be permitted on court. Athletes must also bring their own water to drink. All athletes must change their shoes upon entry, no exceptions.
What will athletes learn?
The beginner / intermediate badminton camp will introduce athletes to the sport of badminton and teach basic badminton techniques and footwork. They will also learn the rules of the game. Training is in a relaxed and fun environment. Advanced athletes should join the High Performance Camp for more rigorous training.
After-hour care?
Half Day Camp participants must be picked up by 12:10PM. After-hour care is available to full day participants for free. Space is limited and participants must register in advance. A space (e.g., lobby or court) will be assigned to participants from 3-5PM. Athletes must bring their own activities to do. There will be minimal supervision and there will not be any planned programming.
